Hazlet Fire District #1 Welcomes New Members

Hazlet Township Fire District #1 is an all volunteer fire district, that covers the 5.67 miles,  Volunteer firefighters protect their fellow citizens and neighbors. As a volunteer enjoy a sense of accomplishment, achievement, and pride in the work you will be doing. When you volunteer you become part of a team, learn new skills, and give back to your community.  As a volunteer firefighter you can make a real difference.

Hazlet Fire District consists of three all volunteer fire companies:

• Hazlet Fire Company #1, 570 Holmdel Road, Hazlet
• North Centerville Volunteer Fire Company,  372 Middle Road, Hazlet
• West Keansburg Fire Company,  91 Eighth Street, Hazlet Township

Hazlet Fire District #1 welcomes any person of at least 18 years of age, a resident of New Jersey, Hazlet Township resident, or a neighboring township resident.  

• There is no previous fire service experience necessary to join
• Training will be provided at no cost to you
• All necessary gear will be provided at no cost to you
• Length of Service Awards Program for eligible members
